Introducing Indexy: Clarity Behind Crypto Markets

Excited to share a new market intelligence platform to better track, invest and learn about crypto markets.

Hey everyone,

Today, I’m introducing Indexy, a new app designed to make tracking, investing, and learning about crypto markets easier and more effective.

Right now, keeping up with crypto feels outdated. With new sectors constantly emerging across different blockchains, tracking one coin at a time just doesn’t cut it anymore. We need better tools to follow trends, reduce risks, and get a clearer picture of the market.

That’s why I’m building Indexy—a simple, clean platform that helps you find the truth in crypto markets.

The Wall Street Journal first edition, July 8, 1889. The journal had a founding motto: "The truth in its proper use." It also published the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA).

A classical example is the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), created by Charles Dow and Edward Jones in 1896. Both were statisticians and reporters who co-founded The Wall Street Journal. Before its inception, investors had little access to truthful and unbiased company financials. The DJIA originally represented twelve companies covering key market segments at the time.

Indexy applies this concept to crypto, allowing you to track different sectors and narratives instead of just individual tokens.

Why Indexy?

The crypto landscape isn’t just about Bitcoin and Ethereum anymore. New sectors have emerged and are here to stay: Blockchains, L2s, AI-driven finance, memecoins, onchain art, tokenized assets, decentralized social networks, and more. Keeping up manually is nearly impossible.

What is an Index?

In traditional investing, an index is a group of assets bundled together to track a specific market segment—like the S&P 500 for stocks. It provides a broader view of market trends and reduces risk by diversifying investments.

Indexy’s first indices tracking AI, NFTs, DAOs, and emerging ecosystems like Farcaster and Clanker.

Here are a few indices I’ve been putting together (data might not be 100% accurate).

The Farcaster Index tracks coins, projectd and NFTs associated with the Farcaster protocol and ecosystem.

This index covers the top 50 coins by market cap related to AI and crypto. It includes agents, frameworks, launchpads and more.
