10 things worth sharing from the generative and crypto art world...
gm and happy new year ☕️!
As New Year's celebrations end, I’m slowly returning to the daily routine. Feels like crypto and generative art never take breaks…
Here are 10 things worth sharing from the generative and crypto art world:
Kaloh’s updates
1. I took time to reflect on highlights & milestones from last year 👉 Read Kaloh’s 2022 Year in Review.
Exciting collections from last week:
2. Circumscript by Wouter Missler
I included Wouter Missler in 🕵️ 6 Tezos Artists Flying Under The Radar back in September. He has been creating art non-stop, and you can see his progress in Ciscumscript.
Total volume: 19,000 Tezos.
Floor: 71 Tezos.
Upcoming drops on my radar:
3. Hyper Pixel by Cannaerts on fxhash - Jan, 4.
4. to ma · & toma by riis on fxhash - Jan, 5.
5. Good, Computer by Dean Blacc, Art Blocks Presents - Jan, 6.
Genuary 2023 is here!
January = #Genuary.
Here are some of my favorites from the first 3 days:
6. inf0bil, day 1 - “infinite loop”
7. sharladraws, day 2 - "made in 10 minutes”
8. Melissa Wiederrecht, day 3 - “Glitch”
Deal of the week
As I scanned through fxhash today, I noticed that dg5721() by Cyril Diagne had only 4 pieces listed for sale out of 128 editions (less than 3%). Two of those were mine, so I quickly pumped up the listings to a much higher price.
I previously wrote about Cyril and dg5721(); this is a fascinating collection as it uses a tiny neural network in the browser. It might be the first-ever gen art collection to combine coded and AI art on fxhash.
Interesting Read
10. Not for Nothing: A New Perspective from Peer to Peer by Charlotte Kent.
Have a great week!
