Chonks

Last week, I minted a fun project called Chonks on Base. It's a fully onchain, customizable PFP collection, featuring bodies ("chonks") and wearables to personalize your character.

Over 80,000 Chonks were minted at 0.003 ETH each, totaling nearly $3 million in primary sales. Secondary sales have been extremely active, surpassing 117 ETH (approximately $420,000) according to OpenSea.

On the surface, Chonks may seem simple and basic, but behind the scenes, they are fully onchain and technically robust.

Pudgy Penguins To Launch $Pengu on Solana

Pudgy Penguins, one of the most popular PFP projects in the space, has announced the launch of their native token, $PENGU. Surprisingly, it's set to debut on the Solana blockchain instead of Ethereum. The total supply will be 88.88 billion tokens, with allocations for existing NFT holders and the broader Solana and Ethereum communities.

$Pengu Tokenomics: 17.8% for the team, 12.35% for liquidity, 4% for public good, 11.48% company, 0.35% FTT Holders, 25.9% for Pudgies, 24.12% for other communities.
